Shane Feiman is the President and CEO of Donohue Feiman Retirement Plan Services, Inc.
He is a member of the American Society of Pension Actuaries (ASPA), the Association for Advanced Life Underwriters (AALU), and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA). In 2003, he received his Chartered Life Underwriters (CLU) designation, his Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation, and his Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation.
Shane is a graduate of Syracuse University. He, his wife Amy, and their two sons, Samuel and Maxwell, reside in Denver, Colorado.
Judah Musick was born and raised in Salem, Oregon where he earned his private pilots rating at the age of 18. He then attended Saint Louis University where he earned a double major in Aeronautical Science (Professional Pilot) and Aviation Management. Shortly after graduating, Judah realized that he was better suited for a career in business than in the airlines and so he moved to San Diego were he ran a successful small business before entering the financial service industry.
Prior to entering the pension business, Judah was a Wealth Advisor at the Family Wealth Institute, Inc., a wealth management firm in Portland, Oregon. Judah brings a strong background in operations, sales and marketing, technology and creative vision to the Donohue Feiman team. He has a unique ability to add significant value to the practices of financial advisors, attorneys, CPA’s as well as the clients they serve.
In his free time, Judah enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife Shanna and son Brennan. They are taking full advantage of their new home in Denver Colorado and can be found fishing, flying, snowboarding, skiing, hiking or biking.
Gary Newsom, a pension analyst at Donohue Feiman Retirement Plan Services, Inc. received his B.A. in Business Administration and Economics from Western State College in Gunnison, Colorado. He also spent time studying advanced systems including COBOL, Fortran, Basic, JCL, Systems Analysis and Design, Data Base Management as well as Intermediate and Advanced Accounting at Metropolitan State College in Denver.
Before joining Donohue Feiman, Gary spent seven years in Group Benefits Administration, including health, life and disability throughout many school districts throughout Colorado. He also spent eight years with Wells Fargo as an Employee Benefits Accounting Specialist where he preformed all record-keeping functions on a variety of client retirement plans.
Finally, Gary has been a Plan Analyst with Donohue Feiman for the past fourteen years, performing all record-keeping functions related to defined contribution and defined benefit plans including conversions, plan set up, document processing, contribution projections, account reconciliation, compliance testing, and reporting. Gary also is skilled at plan design which includes profit sharing plans using various funding methods such as salary proportionate, class allocation, and integration.
Jackie Olsen has been in the pension business for over 25 years. She started at Wells Fargo in 1987 as a mutual fund processor and worked her way into the Employee Benefits side of the trust business as an assistant and daily record keeper.
Jackie also worked at MetLife for 3 years and was able to achieve her Series 6 license at that time. She became a qualified pension administrator (QPA), skilled at daily recordkeeping with a high volume account. She left MetLife when the pension business was transferred to another state.
Jackie started working for Donohue Feiman Retirement Plan Services, Inc. in 2003 which is where she learned all aspects of Defined Benefit Plans, 412(i) Insurance Plans, Cash Balance Plans, and New Comparability Profit Sharing Plans. She is also proficient at running plan proposals for all types of plans and product combinations.
Debby McGovern is an experienced, knowledgeable retirement plan analyst. Debby has over 30 years of experience in the retirement plan industry and has successfully completed the ASPPA courses for the QKA credentials. As keeping up with the ever-changing regulations and continuing education is important to Debby, she will be taking additional courses through ASPPA toward the next level of credentials, QPA.
Debby enjoys working with her clients and agents! She provides the plan documents and amendments, prepares the annual testing, valuations, and government filings for the plans. She also established the Pension Portal for maintaining a secure online location for your documents, valuations and government filings. She makes it a top priority to assist you with the administration of your retirement plan, a valuable benefit for your company!
Dena received her Bachelors Degree from Colorado State University and shortly after began working with Ed Feiman in 1985. Dena then joined Donohue Feiman Retirement Plan Services in 1996 as a Business Manager and has been here ever since!
